Of All Places - Mallorca
Boulevardtheater Deidesheim, Germany
A turbulent comedy by Gerry Jansen
Does this sound familiar? You've worked hard and saved all year long. And now, at last, the best time of year arrives: holiday!
You booked a bargain deal and were looking forward to a well-earned break in Mallorca... only to be hit by the first disappointment straight away: the hotel is a run-down dump that bears absolutely no resemblance to the pictures in the travel brochure.
That's exactly what happens to our protagonists - Klaus-Rüdiger, Martin and Doris. Two things unite them: a longing for a holiday and the surname Maier (though spelled differently by each). And so the inevitable happens: all three end up sharing the very same room.
To make things spicier, none of the Maiers knows about the others - because the chaotic hotel employee Pedro Rodriguez pulls every trick in the book, possible and impossible alike, to keep the three from meeting and his scheme from unravelling. On top of that, a nun wanders the premises searching for her lost sheep.
Look forward to a sharp-tongued satire set on Germany's favourite holiday island, with the creators promising a fast-paced and riotous Lachfiesta!
