Singer Songwriter Evening - Maikel Tretschok, Malak and Lil Siso

Maikel Tretschok

Since 2017, Maikel Tretschok has been active as a solo artist. Before that, he gained experience in various bands, working on songwriting; a trip to the USA awakened his passion for country music. His songs tell of love, loss, hope and the small moments of everyday life - told directly, with a deep and distinctive voice.

In live performances, he works with a loop station: he builds his songs layer by layer, without backing tracks, so they sound like a whole band played by one person. Among his previous performances was supporting American country singer Jessica Lynn, who has already shared the stage with Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and ZZ Top.

Malak

Malak is a singer from Braunschweig. In 2023, she joined the "Soul of Braunschweig" project through the If A Bird e.V. organization and wrote her song "Woman in Black" there - a personal statement about identity, strength and visibility of Black women.

In 2025, she performed as part of Teddy Teclebrhan's tour in Hamburg. She then toured across Europe and also in Los Angeles and New York with the soul and funk band New Soul Generation. Currently, she is working on her own projects and remains a member of New Soul Generation, a band that also emerged from the If A Bird e.V. environment.

Lil Siso

Lil Siso is a musician in the Soul-Trap and Alternative Hip Hop genre, known primarily in Braunschweig and on online platforms. He combines emotional lyrics with melodic beats, released several singles in 2026 - including "VINTAGE" - and is also part of the New Soul Generation project.
