Opening Concert: SOMMERSERENADE TANGO

The opening concert of the 14th Stuttgarter Chortage 2026 is devoted entirely to the seductive world of tango on a warm summer night. VokalWerk Stuttgart presents an evening that puts the sensual power and emotional intensity of this music front and centre. Tango here is far more than a style: it embodies longing, intimacy, and a deep human expressiveness that passes directly from the music to the audience.

At the heart of the programme is Martín Palmeri's Misa a Buenos Aires, an extraordinary composition that fuses the traditional form of the Mass with the passionate spirit of tango argentino.
