KÖRPERWELTEN & THE CYCLE OF LIFE: FROM 10 JULY 2026
More than 58 million people worldwide have already seen this exhibition. From 10 July 2026, plastinator Dr. Gunther von Hagens and curator Dr. Angelina Whalley bring their latest show to Kempten - an exploration of the human body through the cycle of creation and decay: KÖRPERWELTEN & The Cycle of Life.
A wide range of unique specimens, including many whole-body plastinates, guide visitors through the human body and explain individual organ functions and common diseases in an accessible way. The focus is on the human body and how it changes over time - from conception to old age.
KÖRPERWELTEN illustrates what each of us can do to maintain our health and quality of life for as long as possible. Few events leave such a lasting mark on how we see ourselves.
All specimens on display are real. They come from people who, during their lifetimes, donated their bodies for the education of medical professionals and curious members of the public.
