A comedy by Peter Jordan, very loosely based on Miguel de Cervantes

Save the world? No problem for the delusional Don Quixote, the "Knight of the Sorrowful Face" who battles windmills while his loyal companion Sancho Panza descends into despair. Has this man, for whom Sancho abandoned home and fortune, finally lost his mind?

Torn between doubt, loyalty, and complete exhaustion, Sancho resolves to end the adventures and return home defeated. But then he realizes that Don Quixote's madness is merely a facade...

In his very free adaptation of Cervantes' famous novel, author Peter Jordan plays a wild game with genres and literary motifs, ideals and identities. Four actors in rapid succession embody the most varied characters - knights one moment, a talking horse the next, then a corrupt bureaucrat - until complete confusion reigns. A tribute to the magic of theatre beneath the hot Spanish sun.
