E vornehme Bagasch - a comedy by Holger Metzner

Isi and Rainer - known to everyone for fifty years as Easy&Rider - are hippies through and through: careers and housekeeping never interested them as much as weed, Janis Joplin, and free love. When they are forced to leave their cosy flat because the landlord needs it back, the two pensioners have virtually no chance on Karlsruhe's brutal rental market.

Luckily, their granddaughter has an idea: overnight, the ageing hippies reinvent themselves as a wealthy artist couple with their own gallery in New York. It actually works - until the whole chaotic family suddenly wants to move into the smart apartment on Gutenbergplatz as well.

Holger Metzner's comedy takes sharp aim at the madness of today's housing market.
