In the 1970s, a Swabian headed to Berlin and built a remarkable musical career there - despite the handicap of his Swabian dialect, working in the dubbing industry as a lyricist for hundreds of songs, musical director, voice actor, and singer.

Now he's back "dohoim" - retired, but far from idle. Can you write good Swabian lyrics with beautiful melodies and genuinely move people in your own dialect? When Friedemann Benner and his band take the stage, they carry the audience off into a Swabian idyll.
