Lou Andreas-Salomé was a philosopher, writer, and pioneer of psychoanalysis. Throughout her life she pursued freedom, independence, and self-determination with unrelenting resolve - often turning bourgeois conventions on their head. From 1903 she lived in Göttingen, where she found her true calling in psychoanalysis. Junges Theater looks at the life of a woman whose significance can hardly be overstated and who was decades ahead of her time.
