It is the 760,839,000th anniversary of the creation of the world. But God no longer wants to know anything about humanity. They argue constantly. A newspaper advertisement from the League of Nations appears, seeking a new kind God. Reluctantly, God sends Peter with two angels to Geneva. But even for divine emissaries it is difficult - without authority, without a valid passport. A colorful game of mistaken identities begins.

The long-forgotten Viennese writer Maria Lazar (1895-1948) wrote "Hell on Earth" in the 1930s. The play, rediscovered in 2022, premiered in September 2024. In this apocalyptic comedy, laughter catches in our throats.
