An apocalyptic comedy by Maria Lazar

It is the 760,839,000th anniversary of the creation of the world - and God has had enough of people constantly quarreling. When the League of Nations advertises for a new kind God in the newspaper, he reluctantly sends Peter with two angels to Geneva. But even divine emissaries cannot get far without authority and a valid passport. A colorful game of mix-ups begins.

Austrian writer Maria Lazar (1895-1948) wrote the play in the 1930s; it was rediscovered in 2022 and had its world premiere in September 2024.
