Flamenca Laura la Risa presents a classic Tablao Flamenco: dance accompanied by singing, guitar and percussion - just as it is done in an Andalusian Tablao Flamenco. A hot evening is guaranteed!

Laura la Risa - flamenca, choreographer, educator - has built an international reputation in the flamenco world through performances and workshops across the globe. In 1992 she opened Berlin's first flamenco school for children - the first of its kind in Germany. From 2003 she has regularly taught people with intellectual and mental disabilities. Since 1994 she has conceived and directed her own flamenco dance-theatre pieces. In 2003 she founded her own dance company and the non-profit association la Vasca Flamenca e.V. In 2005 she established the flamenco centre a compás in Berlin, where she teaches children, adults and people with intellectual disabilities. Laura la Risa is a committed advocate for cultural diversity and inclusion, and has organised countless intercultural events over more than 30 years.
