Vanessa Jung - Full Steel. Release Concert

Vanessa Jung grew up surrounded by vinyl records: as a child, she regularly accompanied her father to the local record shop and listened to music at home surrounded by shelves full of albums. This early relationship with music runs through all her work. At Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, she studied electric guitar in both bachelor's and master's programmes - the first and so far only woman in this field since the school's founding. Beyond her artistic work, she teaches guitar, coaches bands, and creates content.

Her debut album "Full Steel" is released on 4 September 2026 - on vinyl and CD. It is an instrumental rock album in which the guitar takes on the role of a storytelling voice. Influences from artists like Slash, Gary Moore, and Metallica are audible, but they are not quoted - instead, they are translated into her own musical language.

The release concert takes place at Romanfabrik - weather permitting, on the roof terrace.
