Anniversary Programme 75 Years: "I Still Have a Tesla in Berlin"

In the 75th anniversary programme of Die Stachelschweine "I Still Have a Tesla in Berlin" by Frank Lüdecke and Sören Sieg, a vision of the future in 2029 is told.

The new German Chancellor Sahra Wagenknecht finds herself under mounting pressure as the national debt spirals relentlessly. A cheese roll costs 14 euros, BASF and Bayer have relocated to Asia, VW and BMW belong to Tesla. The creditworthiness of the Federal Republic has been downgraded to BB, half of all taxes go towards interest payments.

The Chancellor has an idea. With a single measure, she calculates, all her election promises can be financed: pensions from age 55, free public transport, and rent frozen at 1989 levels. It is the "Secret Plan Berlin". The capital is to be sold as Germany's crown jewels. An electric car manufacturer, operator of voice news services, Mars rockets, and brain implants seizes the opportunity at once...
