For over 30 years, the Shanty Chor Bad Zwischenahn, founded in 1989, has served as a musical ambassador for the community of Bad Zwischenahn.

Numerous large concerts at the Wandelhalle, the spa clinic, and venues across northern Germany have won audiences over with the choir's musical quality. Today, with more than 30 singers and 6 musicians, the choir remains a fixture on the maritime music scene in northern Germany. From the Hamburger Hafengeburtstag to the Sail in Bremerhaven, performances in the Netherlands and Poland - the Shanty Chor Bad Zwischenahn has a knack for winning over crowds everywhere in its own, perhaps slightly "special" way. With enthusiasm and good humour, the choir looks forward to the years ahead, hoping to reach as many people as possible and give them a great evening.
