Shantychor Bad Zwischenahn

The Shanty Chor Bad Zwischenahn von 1989 e.V. - also known as the "Blaue Jungs vom Zwischenahner Meer" (Blue Lads of Lake Zwischenahn) - has been performing as a musical ambassador of the Bad Zwischenahn community for over 30 years.

The choir now counts more than 30 singers and 6 musicians among its ranks, and is a fixture of the maritime music scene in northern Germany. Past highlights include performances at the Hamburger Hafengeburtstag, the Sail in Bremerhaven, and guest appearances in the Netherlands and Poland.

Regular concerts at the Wandelhalle and the spa clinic in Bad Zwischenahn sit alongside engagements across the wider northern German region.
