GRENDSLAM No. 60 - Team Special with k.u.k. - Klötgen & Koslovsky

The new GRENDSLAM season opens with team poetry at the forefront: k.u.k. - Klötgen and Koslovsky.

Frank Klötgen (Munich) and Wehwalt Koslovsky (Frankfurt am Main) rank among the most successful poetry slammers on the German-language scene - three-time third-place finishers in team competitions, plus a vice-champion and German champion title each in other teams. Since their founding in 2008, they have composed verses in the style of Weimar classics with the playfulness of rap and poetry slam. Nearly 7,000 performances in 50 countries speak for themselves. Their programme "Katastrophenstrophen" brings together legendary team texts, brand-new rhyming duets, and musical interludes with mandatory sing-alongs.

GRENDSLAM has been running since 2005, presenting slam poetry, singer-songwriting, and cabaret - without competition or time limits, but with multiple texts per performance. As host, Frank Klötgen guides the evening and curates the series' programme. Previous guests have ranged from Torsten Sträter to Sarah Bosetti, Marc-Uwe Kling, and Felix Lobrecht, as well as Nora Gomringer and Das Lumpenpack. From 23 September 2026, the series will continue on a bimonthly schedule.
