"verwurzelt" is an exploration of the invisible: what grows, crawls, flows and sounds beneath the surface? Two performers, feeling their way through touch, sensation and description, investigate materials and sounds, trace paths into the unseen and speculate about what lies hidden there. How do we access worlds we cannot see - and how do inner images become audible and visible?

Schaubude Berlin is a production house for contemporary puppet and object theatre in the German-speaking world. With approximately 300 performances annually for children and adults, the programme includes guest performances as well as original and co-productions. The annual "Theater der Dinge" festival explores new trends in the genre.
