Jazz im Marstall - Karoline Weidt - Chamber Jazz Trio

"Karoline Weidt's voice possesses truly magical qualities."
(Wolfgang Fricke, jazzreportagen.com)

Karoline Weidt's Chamber Jazz Trio brings together jazz compositions and set poems with improvisational freedom - in tempo, expression, and approach to text. Together with Benyamin Nuß (piano) and Florian Riedl (clarinet, flute, saxophone), the singer creates music that in its vitality and subtle nuances recalls classic song recitals.

About the venue: Kurmainzer Amtshof

The Kurmainzer Amtshof is a historic administrative court building in the centre of Heppenheim, dating back to the late medieval period when the town was under the rule of the Electorate of Mainz. The ensemble of half-timbered and stone buildings forms one of the most striking architectural groups in the Bergstraße region. Today it serves as a cultural venue hosting concerts, theatre performances and public events.
