The Trio Pariser Flair performs the best-known hits from Cats, The Phantom of the Opera, Elisabeth, Les Misérables, West Side Story and other musicals - with humor, expert anecdotes and surprising behind-the-scenes stories. The programme spans the origins of the musical all the way to contemporary works, shifting between quiet and tender moments and lively, spirited ones. Along the way, you'll hear about the risks composer Leonard Bernstein took at his audience with Pope Paul VI - and what his colleague Andrew Lloyd Webber's pets and housekeeper had to do with it.
