Jazz is flowering - Johannes Enders - Standard Questions

"What are you doing with the rest of your life?"

Johannes Enders' current album "Standard Questions" grew from an original concept: performing exclusively pieces whose titles contain a question. The Great American Songbook offers a rich selection for this - from Bob Haggard's "What's new?" to Morgan Lewis' "How high the moon?".

Enders' internationally assembled quartet will attempt to answer these and all other important questions of humanity - stylistically classical yet timelessly modern, always with a generous dose of humor.

About the venue: Kurmainzer Amtshof

The Kurmainzer Amtshof is a historic administrative court building in the centre of Heppenheim, dating back to the late medieval period when the town was under the rule of the Electorate of Mainz. The ensemble of half-timbered and stone buildings forms one of the most striking architectural groups in the Bergstraße region. Today it serves as a cultural venue hosting concerts, theatre performances and public events.
