BESOFFEN BETRACHTET - Staged Reading from "Voll im falschen Film" by Wiebke Lorenz — Nochtspeicher, Hamburg

Nora Stern, 43, a successful TV actress, mother, alcoholic and sober for three years. After a jog, she wakes up in a stranger's party basement - abducted, locked in, a well-stocked buffet on the bar. Nothing to drink. Except alcohol.

The relapse is set. What begins as a nightmare becomes an investigation: against old enemies, against an addiction that patiently seizes every opportunity, and against her own memory, which grows increasingly fragmented. Until the question arises: who can you trust when your own mind becomes the crime scene?

A darkly comic ride through dependency, humiliation and the thin line between perpetrator and victim - and the question of when supposed help turns into violence. In alternating roles, author Wiebke Lorenz and actress Julia Weden guide the audience through the highs and lows of "Voll im falschen Film".

An evening of unvarnished truths about crashes, controlled loss of control and sober side effects. Quirky, honest, surprising - and enlightening. Because: "The dignity of man is inviolable - even that of the drunk."

The audience can drink whatever they want. Exclusively on offer: the world's first Nora Stern mocktail.
