TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen vs. SV Werder Bremen

SV Werder Bremen is sticking with continuity and enters the new season with the same squad. The team is led by two highly experienced players: Kazakh Kirill Gerassimenko (WRL: 43) and former vice world champion Mattias Karlsson (WRL: 102). The lineup is rounded out by Frenchman Irvin Bertrand (WRL: 301) and Paraguayan Marcelo Aguirre (WRL: 308). Both tend to be underestimated, yet each has beaten top-ranked opponents in the past.

After finishing second in the last regular season, Werder Bremen is once again considered a play-off contender.
