"Caro maestro" - Chamber Music Evening

As part of the Markgräfler Musikherbst festival, this ensemble performs at the highest level in the grand hall of the Schloss. The programme features works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Christian Bach - original compositions alongside arrangements.

The eight-year-old Mozart met Bach's 29-year-old son Johann Christian in London in 1764 and was so taken with him that his first piano concertos drew directly on J. C. Bach's harpsichord sonatas.
