Dave Goodman - Godfather of Fingerstyle Guitar and Blues Guitar Master

Dave Goodman is often called a musical chameleon - and rightly so: his music blends blues, rock and jazz with Anglo-American and Irish-Celtic influences that he says he absorbed through his mother. He started playing guitar at twelve; after years in Canada and the USA, he moved to Germany in the late 1990s, where he developed his own voice as a singer-songwriter and fingerstyle guitarist.

His catalogue includes eleven solo CDs, DVDs and instructional publications, as well as shared stages with John Lee Hooker and Jeff Healey, and tours and festivals across Europe, the USA, Canada and England. His vocal range stretches from the tender timbre of a ballad to a glissando-laced blues.

Live, Goodman weaves acoustic fingerstyle playing together with original compositions and wry storytelling - a show that refuses to be pinned to any single genre.
