Florian (David Knors) is visually impaired and would happily live on unemployment benefits. Instead, he is assigned to a job at Dialoghaus Hamburg, where he meets the hearing-impaired Kati (Cindy Klink) - and is immediately drawn to her. The two have to find a way to communicate, which turns out to work better than expected, thanks to some helpful apps.

But their different backgrounds and Florian's emotional walls keep getting in the way. Only when he learns that his despised father is dying does his hard shell begin to crack - and he finally understands what Kati means to him.
