Since then, both women have carved out their own paths - Emily with remarkable success as a manager at a luxury brand whose advertising campaigns command staggering budgets. Miranda Priestley, meanwhile, can only dream of such resources. The golden era is behind her: in the age of the internet, her print magazine "Runway" is selling worse by the day. But fate has other plans, and the paths of Miranda, Andy and Emily cross once again after all this time - with art director Nigel (Stanley Tucci) back in the mix as the New York fashion world stirs up fresh drama.
