Leipzig, Germany

About the venue

The Alte Handelsbörse (Old Commercial Exchange) is a baroque building on Naschmarkt square in Leipzig, completed in 1687. One of the city's oldest surviving secular buildings, it served as a merchants' trading hall for centuries. Today it is used as an event and concert venue, hosting classical music performances, receptions, and cultural events. A famous statue of the young Johann Wolfgang von Goethe stands in front of the building.
