About the venue

The Alte Mensa on Wilhelmsplatz is one of Göttingen's historic university buildings, dating back to the early 20th century. The Adam-von-Trott-Saal is a named hall within it, used for lectures, cultural events, and academic gatherings. The room honours Adam von Trott zu Solz, a Göttingen-educated lawyer and resistance fighter executed in 1944 for his role in the plot against Hitler.
