About the venue

The Alter Hof is a medieval palace complex in Munich's old town, built in the 13th century as the first official residence of the Wittelsbach dynasty. Its distinctive tower, the Affenturm, is one of the city's oldest surviving structures. Today the courtyard and historic rooms host cultural events, open-air concerts and public gatherings.
