About the venue
The Spinnerei is a former cotton mill in the west of Leipzig, built in the late 19th century and once the largest cotton-spinning complex in continental Europe. After reunification it was gradually converted into a sprawling arts campus, now home to around 100 studios, galleries, and creative businesses. It hosts regular gallery open days, art fairs, and cultural events throughout the year.
