About the venue

The F60 visitor mine in Lichterfeld-Schacksdorf is built around one of the world's largest movable machines - a 502-metre-long overburden conveyor bridge once used in open-cast lignite mining. The industrial giant was decommissioned in 1991 and has since been transformed into a technical monument and event venue, hosting concerts, light shows and guided tours across its vast steel structure.
