The Bremer Philharmoniker are Bremen's principal orchestra, founded in 1825 and one of the oldest in Germany. Halle 1 is their main concert hall, located in the historic Güterbahnhof complex - a converted freight depot that gives the space its distinctive industrial character. The programme spans symphonic concerts, chamber music and guest performances.
