About the venue

Bürgerweide is a large open public green space in the north of Bremen's city centre, historically used as a citizens' meadow. It is best known today as the main site of the Freimarkt, one of Germany's oldest and largest funfairs, held annually in October. The grounds also host circuses, travelling fairs, and other large open-air events throughout the year.
