About the venue

The Carl-Orff-Saal is one of the mid-sized concert halls inside the Gasteig cultural centre in Munich's Haidhausen district. With around 500 seats, it serves as a stage for chamber music, jazz, world music and spoken-word events. The hall is named after the Munich-born composer Carl Orff, best known for Carmina Burana.
