About the venue

The Chinesischer Turm (Chinese Tower) is a five-storey wooden pagoda built in 1789 in the English Garden, one of Munich's largest parks. It gives its name to the beer garden surrounding it - one of the biggest in the world, with seating for around 7,000 guests. Brass bands regularly play from the tower's second floor, and the site hosts seasonal festivals and open-air events throughout the year.
