About the venue

The German Football Museum, opened in 2015 directly opposite Dortmund's main railway station, traces the history of German football from its beginnings to the present day. Permanent exhibits include the original Jules Rimet Trophy replicas, World Cup winner medals, and immersive multimedia installations. The venue also hosts temporary exhibitions, public screenings, and events tied to the football calendar.
