About the venue

The Ensemblehaus Freiburg is the home of the Ensemble Modern-affiliated SWR Experimentalstudio and serves as the main venue of the Freiburger Barockorchester and the ensemble recherche. Opened in 2018, the purpose-built concert hall was designed with contemporary and early music performance in mind, offering outstanding acoustics in an intimate setting. It regularly hosts chamber concerts, new music premieres, and early music productions.
