The Ermelerhaus is a restored baroque townhouse on the banks of the Spree in Berlin-Mitte, dating from the 18th century. Originally built for a wealthy merchant family, it was carefully relocated stone by stone to its current site on Märkisches Ufer in the 1960s to save it from demolition. Today it serves as an event and banquet venue, hosting receptions, conferences and cultural gatherings in its period-furnished rooms.
