About the venue

St. Johannis is a Gothic brick church in Lüneburg, one of the oldest and largest in the city. Built mainly in the 14th and 15th centuries, it is known for its slightly leaning tower - a result of the ground subsidence caused by salt mining beneath the city. The church regularly hosts organ concerts and classical music events alongside regular Lutheran services.
