About the venue

Festung Ehrenbreitstein is one of the largest preserved fortresses in Europe, perched on a rocky plateau above the Rhine opposite the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz. Its origins date back to the 10th century, with the current Prussian fortifications built in the 19th century. Today it hosts the Landesmuseum Koblenz, the State Archaeological Museum, and a youth hostel, and serves as a major venue for open-air events and festivals.
