The Freiheitshalle is Hof's main multipurpose arena, opened in 1955 and named after the city's post-war sense of freedom. With a capacity of several thousand, it hosts concerts, trade fairs, sporting events and large-scale shows. The hall is one of the most recognizable event venues in the Upper Franconia region.
