About the venue

The Friedenskirche (Church of Peace) in Sanssouci Park, Potsdam, is a Protestant court church built between 1845 and 1854 under King Frederick William IV, inspired by the Early Christian basilica of San Clemente in Rome. The church houses a notable 13th-century Byzantine mosaic apse and serves as the burial site of several Hohenzollern rulers. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Palaces and Parks of Potsdam and Berlin.
