Berlin, Germany

About the venue

The Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn Sportpark is a multi-use sports complex in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district, named after the 19th-century gymnastics pioneer Friedrich Ludwig Jahn. Its main stadium, built in the GDR era, seats around 18,000 spectators and regularly hosts football matches - most notably those of 1. FC Union Berlin and BFC Dynamo in earlier years. The grounds also include athletics facilities and smaller arenas used for a range of sporting events.
