Fascinating stories of sculptures in a Berlin church for the whole family.
Berlin, Germany
The Friedrichswerdersche Kirche is a neo-Gothic brick church in central Berlin, designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel and completed in 1831. It was one of the first neo-Gothic churches in Germany and long served as a branch of the Nationalgalerie, displaying 19th-century sculpture. After years of restoration work, it reopened as an exhibition and event space.
