About the venue

The Carl-Orff-Saal is one of the smaller concert halls inside the Gasteig, Munich's large cultural centre on the Isar. With a capacity of around 500, it serves as an intimate stage for chamber music, spoken word, and smaller ensemble performances. The hall is named after the Bavarian composer Carl Orff, best known for Carmina Burana.
