About the venue

Gasteig HP8 is the temporary home of the Gasteig cultural centre while the main building on the Isar undergoes renovation. Located in the Sendling district, the converted industrial hall hosts the Münchner Philharmoniker, the Munich public library, and a wide range of concerts, theatre performances, and public events. The flexible spaces include the Isarphilharmonie, a purpose-built concert hall with outstanding acoustics.
