About the venue

Gondwanaland is a vast tropical hall inside Zoo Leipzig, opened in 2011. Under a glass-and-steel roof spanning over 16,000 m², it recreates the ancient supercontinent Gondwana with dense rainforest, free-flying birds, and exotic animals. The hall occasionally hosts evening events and special guided tours alongside its permanent exhibition.
