About the venue

The Großer Sendesaal of Saarländischer Rundfunk is the main concert hall of the Saarland public broadcaster, built in the 1950s and renowned for its outstanding acoustics. It serves as the home stage of the SR Sinfonieorchester and regularly hosts classical concerts, recordings and radio broadcasts. The hall seats around 500 listeners and is considered one of the finest radio concert halls in Germany.
