About the venue

Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart is one of Berlin's leading contemporary art museums, housed in a former 19th-century railway terminus originally built as the Hamburg–Berlin line's Berlin station. The neoclassical building was converted into an exhibition space and opened as a museum in 1996. It holds major works by Joseph Beuys, Andy Warhol, and Cy Twombly, and regularly hosts large-scale temporary exhibitions and cultural events.
