The Händelhaus in Halle (Saale) is the birthplace of composer Georg Friedrich Händel (1685–1759), now a museum dedicated to his life and work. The late-Renaissance burgher's house documents Händel's biography and the musical culture of his era through instruments, manuscripts, and portraits. It also serves as a venue for concerts and cultural events, particularly during the annual Händel Festival.
