About the venue

The Church of the Holy Spirit (Heiliggeistkirche) is one of Munich's oldest churches, with roots going back to the 13th century. Its current late-Gothic hall church structure dates from the early 15th century, while the interior was remodelled in Baroque style around 1730. Located on the Viktualienmarkt, it regularly hosts sacred concerts alongside regular services.
